Alaskan forest rangers respond to a distress call from a hiker lost in the Alaskan foothills, this leads to a strange find and the beginning of a dangerous investigation, at the same time the founder of DAWN, Defenders of Alaskan Wildlife and Nature, a watch dog group that keeps tabs on industrial activities in Alaska, is informed of an oil company in national preserve boundaries, her team hikes in to investigate, they find an industrial contractor who has stumbled onto a cave with interesting artifacts inside, their guide recognizes a pictograph from his past and warns them of the evil the cave holds, but falling to greed himself, enters the cave unleashing a barrage of mishap, misfortune, and more, the Alaskan state police chief becomes involved finding himself caught up in an FBI controversial cover up that is unspeakable.
