As 2009 approached, Jackie McGregor and her partner, Matt, started making their New Year resolutions. This year, it was decided, they would attempt a bigger challenge than usual - 12 of them in fact. They would attempt to change a habit per month in the hope of making their life with their 3 year old daughter, Daisy, as fun-filled, enjoyable and fulfilling as possible. Looking at challenging behaviours may have been second nature to Jackie as a teacher, but would it be as easy to challenge their own ingrained habits? Could they live on 'needs' and not 'wants' for a month? Would they manage without telly? 10,000 steps a day - how possible is that? As for 'submissive wife' month - well, their friends were all eager to hear how self-confessed, 'control-freak' Jackie would cope with that challenge.
