In this book the bio-separation applications of nanofibre membranes are discussed, including fabrication techniques and properties for the electrospun nanofibres, chemical modification of the membrane fibres, and purification of biological products by size-based and adsorptive mechanisms. Limitations and future possibilities of nanofibre membranes for bio-separations, as well as comparisons to conventional membrane bio-separations, are made.
