It is not easy to explain how the word cancer can so drastically alter the course of our lives. I thought I was brimming with life while unbeknownst to me diseased cells kept multiplying inside my body, taking me, step by step, closer to death. Although the fight has not been easy, facing the distinct possibility of death has allowed me to rearrange my priorities and revise the way I view life.
