I've read many inspirational books by various authors. I was expecting one of them to have the magic potion to cure me. Their ideas, suggestions and personal knowledge were not working for me. I tried their advice. I ended up at the same spot. Don't get me wrong, those books and their methods weren't for me. I wanted things my way. The advice I was given did not deter me from my own self destructive ways. I didn't honor me nor did I trust anyone. I was at war with me. I blamed everyone for my misery. Then It happened, my moment of self-discovery and clarity. That very moment I knew I had to share my experiences my triumphs my handicaps and my views. I needed to do this book to peel back the infected skin (my soul) to expose my wounds so I could heal. This is for the young girl inside who was hurt, misunderstood and silent.
