When Larry Nash picks up a lost wallet in the mall parking lot, he has no idea it will change his life forever. The wallet contains a thousand dollars and 10 intricately painted pewter figures. Once he takes the wallet he unleashes a darkcurse that will transport him to another world of tarot cards, with wizards, demons, and warriors. Here he becomes responsible for the lives of the ten people represented by the tiny figures. When Larry learns that the figures also represent people in his own time ? one of whom he has fallen in love with ? the stakes rise to a new level.
