This is a story of some of the happenings in the life of a boy growing up in the depression era of the United States of America in the 1930s. The events, times and places are all real. It was a time of very little financially and circumstances were much the same for everyone in the country. People were poor but honest and if one gave his word it was considered to be the truth and the person was bound by it. My family was optimistic and much humor was cynical due to the economic circumstances.
