I can't cook, at least not yet. So people often remark "How can you write a cookbook if you can't cook." Well, when I look at a recipe it seems like it's written in Martian which I don't understand at all. I reasoned that established cooks already speak the cooking language and thinks everyone else understands what they are advising. But we non-cooks don't. Therefore, there is need for information which introduces cooking to people at the beginning stage, i.e. learn the cooking language and tools before they attempt to cook from a recipe. One needs to know a little something about the auto and auto language before driving a car, or likewise fly an airplane, process words on a computer, text messages on a cell phone, do power point, teach a class, do brain surgery, and so on. So why not before you cook? It is with this beginner's concept in mind that I offer my Before You Cook (B4U Cook) for all those out there, young and old, who do not yet cook, but need to know the basic language...
