This book is a chronology of computing history from the African American point of view. I do not try to rewrite the history of technology. This is not an attempt to include unfounded findings. Everyone I included had made legitimate contributions to history. Some became billionaires. Some were hounded into poverty. I have only included the contributions from minorities and women. Some of the topices discussed are TCP/IP, microprocessors, ISA, Mark Dean, Clarence Ellis, Hedy Lamarr, Radia Perlman, Granville Woods, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, and Adele Goldberg as well as the traditional devices and characters of computer history Babbage, Leibniz, Pascal, Burroughs and Hollerith.
