Little Duck dreams of flying South like other ducks. But, she can't go because she's still too little to fly. She shares her dream with Donkey, Pig and her other Farm friends. Not wanting her to leave the Farm, they sneer at her dream and tell her she can't fly. Little Duck's certain she can fly and works hard to make her dream come true. She falls to the ground each time she jumps and flaps her wings. Little Duck becomes sad and ready to quit trying, when Ant and Bumble Bee encourage her to never, ever give up on her dream.
