This art series was inspired by the famous PINK'S eatery, featuring the most delicious hot dogs in all of Los Angeles. The art series started when I met Gloria Pink, one of the proprietors of PINK'S! Her enthusiasm, positive energy, friendly and charismatic personality impressed me very much. It was at that point that the concept of creating this art series began to take hold of me. I have lived in Orange County California for much of my life. However, it was not until I met Gloria Pink that I learned that PINK'S has been a Los Angeles Landmark since 1939, and that it has catered to thousands of people in the entertainment industry including such super stars as Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Dennis Miller, Carol Channing, Bill Cosby, Jason Alexander, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, and many others.
