The central purpose of FORM: artistic independence is to provide exposure for artists who live and work in Atlanta, and to chronicle the creative forces driving the citya??s dynamic artistic community. With FORM: artistic independence, WE Design Atlanta aims to provide equal space to artists both established and emerging who believe in creating art on their own terms. Artistic independence takes various forms in this third edition, from performance art to photography, book design to sculpture. The artists speak in their own words on the creative process, inspiration and methodology. Founded in 2007, WE Design Atlanta has grown in tandem with Atlantaa??s grassroots arts community. The organization's mission is to design a more vivid world by coming together, sharing together, creating together and ultimately succeeding together.
