This is the story of a young woman, born and raised on her parent’s homestead in 1915, who enjoyed the richness of life with her parents and seven siblings. In infancy, she enjoyed the tributes of living on a farm filled with intrigue and imagination, unconditional love of her mother and friendships she coveted in the forest and farm buildings. In youth, she experienced the real hardships of life. Her family was forced to sell the farm and settled in a corrupt city. She experienced her mother’s death, the breakup of her family, the abandonment from her older brother, and being sent to an orphanage with her sister and brother. Later, she would be separated from siblings and sent to a foster home, losing complete contact with her family.
