In "Queen", readers will learn the story of possibly one of the most unique bands in rock music history. The band gets much of the credit for spreading the word of hard rock music across the United Kingdom and the United States. Big shows and a big sound characterized the band fronted by a rather diminutive man, Freddie Mercury. But as the author tells, there was nothing small about the talents of Freddie and the other members of the band. Freddie grabbed a hold of an audience with the first note the sang, and he never let go until the last note of the last song had passed. Not all was smooth for the band, as readers of "Queen" will discover. Freddie's death devastated the band and its fans. Still, the group has continued to perform, earning a new group of fans at each show.
