It was on my seventeenth birthday that I just started writing. I wrote about the hand life had dealt me the past year and it slowly evolved into something greater. I had been sending, what I have been told, were some amazing text messages that apparently said the perfect thing at just the right time. I began to come up with quotes that were too deep for me to take credit. Suddenly, writing a book and getting it published became more of a reality and less like a dream after some sleepless nights typing, some computer setbacks, numerous glasses of sweet tea and not to mention the text messages that fueled my determination.
