"Nothing Missed, Everything Gained" is William's incredible and rather fascinating first effort, traveling the past through his life experiences from the age of five to the present. His life is full of nuances, sad, funny, and crazy memories written with a comic undertone, with a certain and interesting sense of humor under a rather unique structure. Not feeling sorry for himself, the author eloquently talks about his experiences as a kid (from a kid's perspective), people he met later on in life (as a young adult), failed relationships, and life in the corporate world, all in an entertaining manner. Among them is the most recent experience, the one that almost cost him his life. Extra bonus material includes the following poems: "How Time Flies," "Gone Too Soon," and a small narrative called "A Day in the Life."
