I Sold the Moon is a true story from the 1970’s of the original Moon Man, a silver-suited street performer and comic philosopher. For ten years, Moon Man crisscrossed America selling "lunar real estate," transportation not provided. Told in the first person, I Sold the Moon explores how a young man, fresh out of college, could get the idea that he could claim the moon and then sell it. Moon Man's evolution is paralleled throughout by more earthly concerns including his evolving romance in the turbulent days of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll.
