We Mean Business is a one-year course at elementary level, for students who need general English with a commercial bias. It is particularly suitable for students at school or those beginning further education, who plan careers in business. We Mean Business is activity- and skill-based, with a strong element of structure revision and consolidation. It introduces, in realistic settings, English for clerical, secretarial and administrative work and concentrates on office practice, organisation and routine, correspondence and telephoning. Its companion volume, We're in Business, covers a wider range of international business activities, such as trade, import/export, finance, with related documentation, at a slightly higher language level.
