This new book covers every nuclear delivery system the United States ever deployed. Over 200pages of bombers and their bombs, submarines and their missiles, ICBMs, cruise missiles, artillery rounds and mines. Name a deployed system and it is here. With few exceptions, each weapon is illustrated by either color or black and white photography (many with multiple views). Each weapon also comes with specifications and a history of its development, deployment and retirement (if retired). For those weapons involved in the open air nuclear test programs, these histories included information on when they were used, where, and what test series. For some weapons the histories also include any accidents the weapon system was involved in. fames Gibson is a degreed Mechanical and Aerospace Engineer who lives in Long Beach, California.
