The Northeast Ohio Panthers are an indoor football team based in Warren, Ohio. They were formerly a member of the Eastern Indoor Football League, which is not affiliated with the Arena Football League or af2. However, they left because of lack of insurance, and will be seeking membership elsewhere for 2009. The North East Ohio Panthers recently changed their name to The Trumbull County Panthers. They have decided to field an elite outdoor team for the 2008 season. This is said to be one of the very few minor league teams where coaches and players will get paid.
