Stephen Michael "Steve" Slawson (born 13 November 1972) was an English professional footballer who played as a striker. Once considered to be the "next big thing" in English football, Slawson never fulfilled his enormous talent, and although linked with several top clubs, including Tottenham, Slawson remained in the lower leagues of English football. Notts County Football Club (often known as Notts or County or by their nickname The Magpies) are an English professional football club based in Nottingham.
