Geoff Angus (born 19 August 1948) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Hawthorn in the VFL. Angus played as a centreman during his career and made his debut for Hawthorn in 1967. He was a member of their 1971 premiership side. Australian rules football, officially known as Australian football, also called football, footy or Aussie rules (and in some regions called-erroneously-AFL, after the Australian Football League, the only fully professional Australian rules football league) is a sport played between two teams of 22 players (18 on the field, and four interchanges) on either an Australian rules football ground, a modified cricket field or another modified sports venue.
