Bernard "Bernie" Nolan (born 23 October 1883) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) between 1904 and 1911. He was senior coach of the Richmond Football Club in 1918. Australian rules football, officially known as Australian football, also called football, footy or Aussie rules (and in some regions called-erroneously-AFL, after the Australian Football League, the only fully professional Australian rules football league) is a sport played between two teams of 22 players (18 on the field, and four interchanges) on either an Australian rules football ground, a modified cricket field or another modified sports venue.
