Patrick McEleney (born 26 September 1992) is an Irish footballer who currently plays for Derry City. He formerly played for Sunderland. His eligibility for a match against Shelbourne in which he scored two goals was questioned because of an international call-up, however the Football Association of Ireland ruled that he was eligible to play. McEleney has also played for the Republic of Ireland at Under-17 and Under-19 level.
