Jim Norman (born 1 September 1928) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong in the VFL during the early 1950s. He was a premiership player in his final two seasons of league football. Australian rules football, officially known as Australian football, also called football, footy or Aussie rules (and in some regions called-erroneously-AFL, after the Australian Football League, the only fully professional Australian rules football league) is a sport played between two teams of 22 players (18 on the field, and four interchanges) on either an Australian rules football ground, a modified cricket field or another modified sports venue.
