She is the 1969 Canadian Champion and a 1968 Winter Olympian. Although born in New York City, she was raised in Ontario. She turned professional in 1970 and toured professionally with Ice Capades. She serves as the School Director for the Miami City Ballet. Her second husband is Edward Villella. Figure skating is an Olympic sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform spins, jumps, footwork and other intricate and challenging moves on ice skates.
