Stanislav Genchev (born 20 March 1981) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who currently plays for Ludogorets Razgrad and the Bulgaria national team. He has played much of his career in a centre midfielder role; however, since his arrival at SC Vaslui, he has been used on every position. Genchev is best known for his long shots.SC Vaslui signed Genchev as a free player, on 14 June 2008. Genchev signed a 3 year contract. He scored in his first game for SC Vaslui, in a 2-1 defeat against Neftchi Baku, scoring with a 25 metres shot. He played as a defensive midfielder, central midfielder, right midfielder, central defender and as a right defender, having some great performances.
