Gerald Brosnan (14 August 1877) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy in the VFL. He played as a key position forward and had an accurate left foot kick. Brosnan made his league debut in 1900 after previously attempting to sign up with both Geelong and Essendon. He had been playing with Ballarat before he signed up with Fitzroy. In just his second season he topped their goalkicking charts with 33 majors.
