Bruno Alexandre dos Santos Patacas (born 30 November 1977 in Vila Franca de Xira, Lisbon) is a retired Portuguese footballer who played as a right defender. After unsuccessfully starting his career with Sporting, he went to represent other clubs before settling with Nacional, where he remained for nearly one decade, appearing in almost 300 official games. A Sporting Clube de Portugal youth graduate, Patacas spent his first professional season with feeder club Sporting Clube Lourinhanense, not being very successful upon his return to the alma mater (three games during parts of 1997a??98 and four more in the following, while also spending time at Lourinhanense).
