FC Spartak Yerevan was an Armenia football club based in the city of Yerevan. The club played in the Armenian Premier League and was previously known as FC Tsement Ararat and FC Araks Ararat. It has won two titles, one with Tsement and the other with Araks. The club was founded in 1960 as FC Ararat, and was based in city of Ararat. In the beginning of the first Armenian Championship in 1992, the club was renamed to FC Tsement Ararat. In year 1998, Tsement won both the Championship and the Cup. The following year, Tsement yielded the championship to Shirak by 2 points and actually ended up on the third spot behind Ararat. However, the club managed to retain the Cup.
