Selver Hodzic (born 12 October 1978 in Brcko, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia) is a Bosnian-Swiss football defender currently playing for FC Lugano from the Swiss Challenge League. Hodzic came to Switzerland as a war refugee in 1993. He played for Zug 94 until 1999, whereupon Hodzic played for a couple of other clubs before signing with FC Thun in 2002. Selver Hodzic has proven his worth as a central defender who is, according to football experts, "A reliable presence at the back, strong in the air and tough in the tackle."
