May 21, 2002) was a professional ice hockey player who played 19 games in the National Hockey League with the Ottawa Senators in their final season of 1933a??34. He played for the Ottawa Commandos which won the 1943 Allan Cup. At his death, he was last surviving member of the old Ottawa Senators. Saunders was born on August 29, 1911, the youngest of nine children, in Ottawa, Ontario. He grew up in Ottawa and played his minor hockey in Ottawa before turning professional.
