Irvin Smith (born March 12, 1967) is a former gridiron football defensive back. He played for the Baltimore Stallions in the Canadian Football League. Smith played college football at Maryland.Smith attended Poolesville High School in Poolesville, Maryland. He then went on to college at the University of Maryland, where he played football from 1985 to 1988. He attended training camp with the New York Jets of the National Football League in 1989 and 1990. In 1991, he played for the London Monarchs of the World League of American Football, and was signed by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League but released before the season.
