Jack London (1876 - 1916) was an American novelist, journalist and social activist. Pioneering the genre of magazine fiction and prototyping science fiction, he became one of the first writers, who gained worldwide fame and a large fortune. "Tales of the Fish Patrol" is a collection of stories like "White and Yellow", "The King of the Greeks", and "A Raid on the Oyster Pirates" drawn from author's own experiences and memories of the days as a teenager aboard the fishing boats of San Francisco Bay.
