Diabetes is one of the most important chronic diseases in the World. It is understood that the subject diabetes itself very wide and big area of concern. Bangladesh is one of the thickly populated country among the world. The prevalence of diabetes in Bangladesh is 6.9%. Risk factors for diabetes include impaired glucose tolerance, obesity, high waist-to-hip ratio, high waist circumference (abdominal obesity), physical inactivity and low fruit and vegetable intake.
