Twenty first century demands present unprecedented challenges upon education. The connection between education and practice and the issue of preparedness of graduates for future practice are central to this. This study is about student practical experience and its relevance to formal architecture education. It seeks to better understand student learning experiences in practice along with the involvement of practices with a view towards the development of a work-integrated learning framework for architecture.
