Small Ruminant Production is more important for productivity, stability and Sustenance of many farming systems at this present juncture besides increasing the income of marginal, small farmers and landless people. Expensive conventional feed ingredients and their non-availability at all times together with decline in the grazing areas are the major constraints to small ruminant production system.
