Improving productivity of poultry is not the major objective of the industry, now securing a suitable future of the industry is more vital. The challenging situation has compelled avian nutritionists to explore for non-conventional feed stuffs. Yeasts for feeding can be obtained as a byproduct from distilleries. However it is economical to obtain it as a byproduct and common feed ingredient in diets for monogastric animals. Distillery sludge is the byproducts of brewing industry which contains 18.25 % crude protein while 37.14 % mineral content. This higher mineral content of distillery sludge is the main limitation towards its extensive use.
