This grounded theory study discovered that "Carrying on with Life and Living” was the main concern shared by Part-Europeans(Kai–Loma)from Fiji managing Type 2 diabetes.The obvious contribution of this study is in the generation of a core category and the basic social and psychological process (BSP) of WALKING THE LINE that accounted for variation in change over time, context, and behaviour in managing Type 2 diabetes.
