Paul AK 2010: Factors that limit first service pregnancy rate in cows. MS Thesis, Department of Surgery and Obstetrics, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. This study was conducted from February 2009 to February 2010 at the selected char areas of river Jamuna of Kazipur Upazila (sub district) at Sirajgonj district to determine the factors that limit the pregnancy rate to first artificial insemination (PR/FAI) in cows. A number of 852 cows were selected considering potential factors of body weight, breed, age, parity, season, breed of bull semen and artificial insemination (AI) technician.
