The work here emphasises on effect of various bonding agents on retention of dental amalgam in tooth cavity. Here the researcher has used various bonding agent and assessed the fracture resistance as well as resistance to dislodging forces. the author has used bond agents like Panavia, Superbond and Scotchbond multipurpose. They have also compared the retention of bonded amalgam with retention of amalgam in an conventional class II cavity.
