Diagnosis or diagnostics is the process of identifying a condition by its signs, symptoms and from the result of various diagnostic procedures. The conclusion reached through the process is called a diagnosis .The term ‘diagnostics criteria’ designates the combination of signs, symptoms and the test results that allows the physician to ascertain the diagnosis of disease.
