However real or imagined he believes himself to be, Home discovers it will take the strongest possible belief, the most cunning sort of dream to combat those of his fearsome adversary Flicker and his minions of The Pretending Tribe. For the Tribe's dreams threaten to consume the world in a wondrous sleep from which there is no awakening.
