'The Old Man Said "Good Morning" is a charming collection of short stories and poems covering a variety of subjects gleaned from the author's life experiences. One story is about the Scottish Bravehearts at El Alamein. There is also a poignant story for cat-lovers and humorous 'Tales from the Pub'. The poems range from beautiful prose describing life in the country to one which is for the soldiers in Afghanistan to whom we owe so much. A delightful read.
