She spends her youth growing up in South Africa as an only child to two loving parents. Despite having made other plans for her life; it all changes when she is diagnosed with an aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis in 2003. She fights a brave battle against the debilitating illness while continuing to love life. Emma's Cradle is the author's third novel.
