Nigeria is gliding to a failed state. The state of the nation is no longer hidden to the world. All attempts aimed at steering the country out of its political quagmire have failed. Sometimes, the world thinks that mental laxity is to blame for the problem. This is not true. When this republic started, 1999, a study discovered that nigeria had the highest number of university graduates in parliament the world over. Many of the country's political leaders even studied in the ivy league universities in the west. Yet, their performance in public office betrays their academic background and height. Some equally believe that the problem should be placed squarely on lack of anti-graft agencies. This premise too begs the question. Nigeria is very rich in anti-graft bodies, but they persistently remain ineffective because of the governments they serve.
