When the Mayan calendar ends and darkness engulfs the entire Earth, panic ensues. Eventually these periods of darkness become known as the Dark Days. The government begins sending people to Mars, with the promise of two million dollars if they can survive two years. This brings new hope to Earth and its people. A young man named Robbie sees this as a chance to save his dying grandmother. However, Robbie eventually finds the government is hiding a dark secret on Mars. Will he even make it back to Earth to save his grandmother, or will they both perish?
