Emotionally abandoned as a child by a mother hungry for her own performing success, Charlie finds her way into her own budding career in the music business. Life would not be so kind, however, and things soon take a sour turn at the hands of those who she thought close. These traumatic events in her young life would set her off on a tale of learning about the value of life, and her choices about whether to nurture herself and others, or not. Thrust into a situation not of her choosing, she will face the decisions that eventually face us all. Should we address rejection with love and hope? Or do we turn around and encourage a vicious cycle by rejecting as well?
