An unfinished work, a dead assistant, bittersweet magic! Just as retiring writer, Charlie Finnis, pours his heart out into his final story, he leaves for the day with the mindset that he'll just touch it up tomorrow. The next day, his sunny mood is shattered by what he finds on his desk. His worn down pencil sat next to his last book, but something was different. Every last paper sat there untouched...but the actual story had disappeared! With all of this happening, Charlie's loyal assistant is all of a sudden found dead that same day, which leads Charlie to believe he is the one to blame.
