Book Two continues chronicling incidents of Park life that are repeated time and again in mobile home parks all over the country. Residents argue over insignificant issues. People provide unasked-for help in time of need. People die, people become ill, and amazingly, unexpectedly but true, people fall in love. The inclusion of a love story is not meant to titillate the reader, although it might; but rather to illustrate the unlimited possibility of love. The aging are not immune to its power. Certainly modern society should recognize the potential of passion-that it is not limited to a certain age; that it does not have an expiration date. It is the same with caring, with giving, with sharing. There is no time limit on these feelings. Martha becomes aware of all these emotions and is uncertain how to deal with them. At the same time, she is quite happy at this new plot twist in her life's drama.
